Refund Policy
At Podcay, operated by Hangzhou Qiyan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are issued.
All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles all customer service inquiries related to billing and processes all refund requests on our behalf.
1. Refund Eligibility
1.1 Monthly Subscriptions
If you are unsatisfied with Podcay, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or any renewal payment. After 14 days, refunds for monthly subscriptions will not be issued, but you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.
1.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. After 30 days, a prorated refund may be issued at our discretion based on the unused portion of your subscription. No refunds will be issued for annual subscriptions after 90 days from the date of purchase.
1.3 Free Trial Conversions
If you subscribed after a free trial and were charged upon trial expiration, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the first charge, provided that you did not make substantial use of the paid features after the trial ended.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- You simply forgot to cancel your subscription before the renewal date (unless within the eligible refund window above).
- You have violated our Terms of Service, resulting in account suspension or termination.
- The Service was used substantially during the billing period for which a refund is requested.
- The request is made beyond the applicable refund window outlined in Section 1.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you may use any of the following methods:
- Through Paddle: Visit your Paddle receipt email and click "Request a Refund," or contact Paddle support directly at paddle.com/support.
- Contact Us: Send an email to [email protected] with your account email, order/transaction ID, and reason for the refund request.
We aim to process all refund requests within 5–10 business days. Once approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and typically takes 5–10 additional business days.
4. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation and refund are different actions:
- Cancellation: Stops future billing. You retain access to Podcay until the end of your current billing period. You can cancel at any time through your account settings.
- Refund: Returns the payment for the current or most recent billing period, subject to the eligibility criteria above. Access to paid features may be revoked upon refund approval.
5. Disputes and Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us or Paddle before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension.
6. Changes to This Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates acceptance of the modified policy.
